Dilluns 5 octubre se celebra el primer Dia de l’Educació Financera, aquesta iniciativa, amb vocació de continuïtat cada primer dilluns d’octubre, es portarà a terme dins del Pla d’Educació Financera, amb l’impuls del Banc d’Espanya i el suport de institucions i entitats com l’Institut d’Estudis Financers (IEF).

Per a nosaltres l’educació financera és el procés per el qual es transfereixen a les persones coneixements, habilitats i competències que les permeten prendre millors decisions financeres personals. Aquestes decisió es pren a llarg de totes les etapes vitals, de manera que l’educació financera s’ha d’impartir a tota la societat, independentment de l’edat o de la realitat social i econòmica, atès que d’una manera o altra tots acabem prenent decisions financeres en el nostre dia a dia.

Celebrar un dia de l’educació financera pot permetre a la societat conscienciar-se de la importància de la mateixa i alhora conèixer les activitats, eines i accions que té a disposició per capacitar-se. Des del IEF, com a pioners en aquest àmbit en l’estat, hem participat i participem en diferents projectes i programes. Per a aquest dia 5 d’octubre participarem amb les següents activitats:

Presentació de la 4a edició del programa d’Educació Financera a les Escoles de Catalunya (EFEC)
Llançament de concurs d’infografies sobre l’Educació Financera per a les escoles participants d’EFEC
Publicant el treball d’investigació “Educació Financera: ¿Un veritable estímul per a l’economia?”
Oferim accés gratuït durant tot el dia al curs on-line “Introducció a les Finances Personals”

Estem convençuts que aquesta primera edició del Dia de l’Educació Financera serà un èxit, doncs donarà visibilitat a les iniciatives que s’estan duent a terme, farà possible que la societat es beneficiï d’elles i en conseqüència prendre millors decisions financeres en el futur.
