Pues sí.

Ayer los adolescentes entre 13 a 15 años del Colegio de Nazaret, en el madrileño barrio de San Blas se encontraron con 15 clases magistrales impartidas por 15 banqueros, entre los que destacaban Ángel Cano, consejero delegado de BBVA, y su homólogo de Santander, José Antonio Álvarez, y el presidente de la patronal AEB (Asociación Española de Banca), José Luis Roldán. El objetivo de estas jornadas es promover la educación financiera y que los estudiantes aprendan a elaborar un presupuesto y analizar conceptos tales como el ahorro, el consumo y la inversión.

El consejero delegado de Santander: “los banqueros nunca hemos sido malos”

Pero los estudiantes aprovecharon también para someter a un pequeño interrogatorio a los banqueros. ¿Cuál fue el desencadenante de la crisis en España? o “yo no quiero ahorrar, quiero invertir en Bolsa ¿qué hago?”, o “no queremos una vivienda alquilada, es tirar el dinero. Preferimos un piso en propiedad, aunque tengamos que viajar en transporte público y reducir todos los demás gastos”. Estas son algunas de las cuestiones y conclusiones protagonizadas ayer por un grupo de estudiantes del colegio a quien les impartió clase Ángel Cano. El banquero les dio a elegir entre ser abogados, ayudante de cocina, con un salario mensual de 750 euros, o contable, con un sueldo de 1.200 euros.
