Unicaja i la UNED firmen un acord de col·laboració per impulsar programes d’educació financera

 21/7/14 - Unicaja y el Centro Asociado de la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) en Málaga han firmado este lunes un convenio marco de colaboración para impulsar y promover programas de educación financiera.

Con la firma de este convenio la UNED Málaga, que cuenta con cerca de 7.000 alumnos, se une al Proyecto Edufinet, promovido por Unicaja en colaboración con la Universidad Internacional de Andalucía (UNIA), la Universidad de Málaga (UMA), la Universidad Pablo de Olavide de Sevilla (UPO), la Universidad de Jaén (UJA) y la Universidad de Córdoba (UCO), mediante el cual se desarrollan actuaciones para fomentar la educación financiera entre la ciudadanía a través de tres pilares: el portal web Edufinet, la edición de publicaciones en materia financiera y la organización de jornadas y talleres.

El director de la División de la Secretaría Técnica de Unicaja Banco y el del Proyecto Edufinet, José Domínguez Martínez, y la presidenta del Consorcio de la UNED para el Centro Asociado en Málaga y diputada de Educación, Antonia Ledesma, han firmado el convenio de colaboración entre ambas instituciones.

Concretamente, el objetivo de este convenio es la mejora de la educación financiera de los ciudadanos, mediante el cual se impulsará la realización de actividades informativas y de formación en la materia, desde el convencimiento de que de esta manera se promueve una mayor transparencia, seguridad y responsabilidad en el desarrollo de las relaciones financieras entre los ciudadanos y los intermediarios financieros y, por tanto, una mayor eficiencia de los mercados financieros.

La firma de este convenio supone un nuevo impulso a las acciones que Unicaja desarrolla con el objetivo de orientar a los ciudadanos en sus relaciones con las entidades financieras, y facilitar la toma de decisiones sobre los diferentes productos y servicios ofertados por las mismas. Con esta finalidad se puso en marcha en el año 2007 el proyecto de educación financiera Edufinet, desarrollado por Unicaja en colaboración con la UNIA y la UMA. Con este proyecto, Unicaja se convirtió en una de las entidades financieras pioneras en España en poner en marcha una iniciativa de este tipo.

A través de estos talleres, con un lenguaje sencillo y accesible y sin necesidad de conocimiento previo, explicaremos las nociones básicas a tener en cuenta para manejar las finanzas domésticas. También se darán las claves para analizar la propia situación personal y todo lo que debemos saber para invertir nuestro dinero, pedir un préstamo, aprender a utilizar la banca online de forma segura, ahorrar para la jubilación, planificar mensualmente nuestros ingresos y gastos, etc.
