Programa para la Evaluación Internacional de Alumnos

La educación financiera es esencial, según la OCDE (Organización para la Cooperación y Desarrollo Económico), desde la infancia. Por eso, el informe PISA, que evalúa el nivel educativo de los escolares de 64 países del mundo

en matemáticas, ciencias y comprensión lectora, incluirá este año cuestiones relacionadas con las finanzas. “En la OCDE hemos detectado que los jóvenes tienen muy pocos conocimientos en este terreno y es un problema, porque en el futuro se enfrentarán a un contexto económico muy complejo, tendrán que tomar decisiones para las que no están preparados”, ase

España está entre los 18 países que, además del resto del examen Pisa, medirá este tipo de habilidades de sus pupilos. “Esperamos que los resultados no serán buenos”, comenta la experta, que estuvo la segura Flore Anne Messy, responsable del proyecto de educación financiera de esta institución.
