Uns 80 alumnes de 4t d’ESO de l’Institut Fort Pius de Barcelona han participat avui en un taller educatiu sobre estalvi i inversió en el marc del programa EFEC que s’ha celebrat a la Borsa de Barcelona, dins el marc del Global Money Week 2015 i de l’European Money Week.

Uns 80 alumnes de 4t d’ESO de l’Institut Fort Pius de Barcelona han participat avui en un taller educatiu sobre estalvi i inversió en el marc del programa EFEC que s’ha celebrat a la Borsa de Barcelona, dins el marc del Global Money Week 2015 i de l’European Money Week.

Aquests alumnes han conegut com funciona una borsa de valors i el seu mercat d’adquisició o subscripció d’accions i valors. Alhora han compartit també un taller educatiu anomenat “Inversió Intel·ligent” on han pogut familiaritzar-se amb els conceptes d’estalvi i inversió per tal que puguin prendre millors decisions en el futur. Aquesta ha estat una activitat complementària del Programa d’Educació Financera a les Escoles de Catalunya (EFEC) i on els esmentats alumnes han participat activament al seu centre escolar en d’altres tallers com ara són “Administrant els teus diners” (gestió dels pressupostos personals), “Finances per a la vida” (introducció a la planificació financera personal), “Endeutar-se amb seny” (consells per evitar el sobre endeutament) i “Els dubtes quotidians d’en Jaume” (situacions financeres quotidianes).

La Global Money Week 2015 és una iniciativa de Child and Youth Finances International que es desenvolupa en col•laboració amb la OCDE, que te per objectiu promoure l’educació financera arreu del món. A l’edició de 2014, de la Global Money Week van participar un total de 3 milions de joves i 490 organitzacions de 117 països. La Global Money Week coincideix amb l’European Money Week, organitzada per la Federació Bancària Europea, iniciatives que es desenvolupen paral•lelament durant la segona setmana de març. Aquest any, el Programa EFEC s’ha sumat a la Global Money Week i a l’European Money Week per donar difusió a les seves activitats. A més del taller d’inversió intel•ligent a la Borsa de Barcelona, s’han programat 361 tallers d’educació financera en 94 centres escolars (amb la participació d’un total de 5.878 joves i 144 voluntaris) i 3 tallers d’educació financera a Centres de Formació d’Adults.
