El proyecto EFEP impulsó la realización de 5 talleres de educación financiera básica dirigidos a alumnos de 1 º y 2 º de bachillerato o 4 º de ESO. Los seminarios fueron impartidos a través de una red de 35 voluntarios de profesionales del sector financiero formados previamente por el IEF. Se seleccionaron 8 centros, públicos, concertados y privados de la provincia de Barcelona. Cada escuela tenia entre 2 y 5 grupos por cada curso, por lo tanto el universo sobre el que trabajamos era de 30 grupos. Cada grupo recibió los 5 talleres, por lo tanto en total se impartieron 138 talleres entre los meses de febrero y marzo de 2012.

El proyecto tuvo una duración de dos años y se llevó a cabo en Reino Unido, Alemania, Grecia, Italia, Polonia, Malta, Portugal, República Checa y España. Se debe resaltar que dentro del proyecto EFEP estaba previsto realizar solamente 25 talleres en cada país. Consideramos que ha sido muy importante ampliar esta cifra a los citados 138 talleres para poder realizar una evaluación más consciente de los resultados.

A continuación puedes ver las presentaciones del programa EFEP que se exponieron en Atenas, el 6 de Mayo de 2011, en que se analizan respectivamente la situación de la Educación Financiera de secundaria en los 5 países que constituyeron la iniciativa: Escocia, Grecia, Alemania, Italia y España.
