La banca debe seguir mejorando la gestión, control y gobernanza de los riesgos, según un estudio

Las entidades bancarias deben seguir mejorando la gestión, control y gobernanza de los riesgos como prioridad estratégica y seguir avanzando en el desarrollo ético del negocio, según una de las principales conclusiones de un estudio de la Fundación de Estudios Financieros.

El informe, denominado ‘Nuevos desafíos del sector financiero: recuperando la confianza y mejorando la cultura financiera’, pone en valor que las reformas regulatorias estructurales en marcha pretenden establecer las bases de un sistema financiero “más sólido”.

En este sentido, aboga por que las entidades financieras analicen el impacto de esta regulación en sus modelos de negocio y se adapten a las mismas para mantener y mejorar su competitividad.

Con el fin de recuperar la confianza en el sector, el estudio asegura que es “imprescindible” el papel de las entidades financieras en su contribución a la educación financiera. “La creciente complejidad de los mercados exige una necesidad creciente de mejorar la educación financiera de los ciudadanos”, explica.

El estudio ha sido dirigido por el socio directo de servicios financieros de EY, Alberto Placencia.

También se darán las claves para analizar la propia situación personal y todo lo que debemos saber para invertir nuestro dinero, pedir un préstamo, aprender a utilizar la banca online de forma segura, ahorrar para la jubilación, planificar mensualmente nuestros ingresos y gastos, etc.
